ShowDowns! presents.....
Peak Paradise
Directed by Clare Hume
Special Guest, Robin Mason, Cellist

ShowDowns! Is very proud to present Peak Paradise - a new piece of physical theatre, devised by the ShowDowns! players, in collaboration with our special guest, Robin Mason, Cellist extraordinaire.

The piece is set in the back court of a block of flats within a bustling city. The inhabitants are joyless and unpleasant to one-and-other.

One day a mysterious stranger, clad in green from head-to-foot, brings a beautiful garden to the inhabitants’ bleak and dreary neighbourhood. Things begin to change for the better.

But alas, due to mankind’s inability to resist interfering with the wondrous gift that is nature (signified by a single butterfly) the joy of the inhabitants is to be short lived...
